Values Education

At Dandenong West Primary School, we show heart by being Respectful, Accountable and Kind in everything we do. We treat others, ourselves, and our school with respect by using appropriate behaviour and creating a positive learning environment. We take responsibility for our actions by using our learning time wisely, listening carefully, following instructions, and moving safely around the school. We also show kindness by speaking politely, respecting that everyone learns differently, including others, and standing up for what is right. Together, these values help create a safe, supportive, and welcoming school where everyone can learn and succeed

Student Awards

We celebrate all students for their learning, effort, and contribution to our school community. Staff regularly recognise students who demonstrate positive behaviour, leadership, and commitment to our school values.

Students who consistently demonstrate excellent behaviour and uphold our school values are presented with a HEART Award.

Each week, students who show academic success, perseverance, and hard work are acknowledged with a Principal’s Award.
